FAMILY & SPECIAL EVENTS
We believe that family and community are essential to our programs and a big part of everything we do. We offer various family or special events throughout the year. Family time at the Y is about giving families as a unit, and as individuals, the opportunities to deepen relationships, develop new skills and interests, improve their health and well-being, and connect to the community. The Y has always been a place where families can play and be active together, and that’s more important than ever. Whether the activities are physical like sports or exercise classes, or more recreational like swimming and arts, we want families doing them together because you’ll live healthier and make memories for a lifetime.

Healthy Kids Day
Summer fun starts at the Y! Join us for Healthy Kids Day and get a sneak peek of all the exciting activities and high-energy adventures waiting for your family this summer! Enjoy open swim in the Adventure pool, play on large inflatables, and win amazing prizes at Family Bingo! Plus, participants will have the chance to win a 3-Month Family membership! You won't want to miss this!

This event is FREE and OPEN to all community members, regardless of Y membership status.

Hooray for Hollywood: 2nd Annual Senior Prom
Enjoy dinner, dancing, mocktails, music, photo booth pictures, & more! Guests ages 60+ may donate towards their meal ($5 is suggested). Others must pay $12 for their meal. No eligible person will be denied a meal due to inability to contribute. All proceeds from soft drinks, mocktails, and snacks sold will benefit YMCA senior programs. This event is in partnership with the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Portage County.
